Announced in October last year, Google’s Pixelbook is the company’s latest attempt at making its own Chromebook. It is a pretty sleek device and even comes with a Pixelbook Pen, which is basically a stylus that lets users interact with the device. For those who own both and are looking for a way to protect it, you’ll be interested to learn that the Pixelbook sleeve has been officially released.
Google unveiled the protective sleeve for the laptop last year, but unfortunately the company failed to mention when it would be available, and more importantly how much it would cost. However the sleeve has since been released and unfortunately it does not come cheap as it is priced at $100.
With the Pixelbook priced at $1,000, a $100 sleeve basically means that you’re paying 10% of the cost of your laptop just for some fabric. The upside is that just like the Pixelbook, the official sleeve does look pretty sleek and also seems to be in line with the overall design language of the laptop. It also comes with room to allow users to stow their Pixelbook Pen to prevent it from getting lost, and also comes with a magnetic insert that helps to keep it closed.
If this sounds like something you think you might be interested in, head on over to Google’s online store to purchase it.
