Potential Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+ Prices Leaked

It seems that with every flagship smartphone release, they just seem to be getting more expensive. Apple’s iPhones are a good example, and even brands like OnePlus which started out affordable have seen an increase in price over the years. This is why it doesn’t come as a surprise that Samsung could be doing the same as well.

In a tweet by Roland Quandt of WinFuture.de, the potential prices of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ might have been revealed. According to Quandt, the Galaxy S9 64GB model will be priced at 8,790 NOK, while the Galaxy S9+ 64GB will be priced at 9,790 NOK, which is roughly $1,130 and $1,258 respectively after conversion.

This is also said to be an increase of 1,200 NOK and 1,300 NOK from last year’s Galaxy S8 and S8+. Note that the conversion to USD is a direct conversion, meaning that it is unclear if these will be the actual prices when the phones are launched stateside. However if the prices are accurate, it could still represent a price increase which probably won’t sit well with customers.

In any case Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S9 announcement will be taking place on the 25th of February at MWC 2018, so do check back with us then for the official details.
