However the good news is that it looks like Apple is expanding as the company has recently announced that they will be expanding Apple Music’s student pricing to 82 new markets later this month, which includes the likes of Israel, Malaysia, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, and Taiwan.
So what does this mean for those living in the eligible regions? This means that instead of paying $10 a month for Apple Music, you can expect to pay $5 a month instead. Note that pricing will differ from region to region due to differences in currency, but in the US Apple Music student pricing is essentially half of the regular price.
Of course this is only applicable for students with valid student IDs and studying in institutions that are recognized by Apple, similar to its education discount system for other Apple products. In any case for those who are interested about Apple Music’s availability and student pricing for their region, head on over to Apple’s website for the details.
