Kuo also estimates that the 6.1-inch model could cost between $700-$800 in the US, and is expected to replace the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus models. He also estimates that should Apple price the phones even lower, around the $700 mark, it could even see shipments go as high as 105-115 million units.
For those unfamiliar with the rumors, Apple has three iPhones in the works for 2018. There will be the 5.8-inch iPhone X, a 6.1-inch iPhone, and a 6.5-inch iPhone. However the difference apart from screen size is that the 6.1-inch model is apparently going to be the cheaper model, and will use LCDs instead of OLED.
It is also rumored to not include certain features such as 3D Touch and could feature a standard battery configuration instead of the L-shaped design, all of which is said to help make the phone more affordable.
