Back in January 2017, HMD Global announced the first Nokia Android smartphone in their portfolio in the form of the Nokia 6. The handset in question was not a particularly high-end device and was actually more of an entry-level handset. However the updated version launched in China is a slight improvement on that.
Instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430, the updated Nokia 6 has been launched with the Snapdragon 630. It will still come with 4GB of RAM, but it is expected to be of the LPDDR4 RAM variety, and will also feature USB-C connectivity, a new fingerprint sensor, and it will also support the Nokia OZO Audio’s spatial audio capture.
However apart from that, the rest of the phone remains the same as 2017’s model, such as its 5.5-inch Full HD display, its 16MP f/2.0 rear-facing camera, an 8MP front-facing shooter, and a 3,000mAh battery. It is priced at 1,699 yuan which is roughly $260 converted for the 64GB model, and will be available for reservation on the 10th of January in China.
