HBO’s hit comedy series about startup culture returns in a couple of months. The cable giant today released the first Silicon Valley season 5 trailer. Not much is known about the upcoming season at this point in time and the trailer only promises that the elements that fans love most about this show are not going anywhere in the upcoming season.
It’s fitting that the first Silicon Valley season 5 trailer has been released in the midst of the Consumer Electronics Show week. Everyone is competing for space in the frantic tech news cycle this week, from behemoths to startups.
The minute-long trailer shows Richard, played by actor Thomas Middleditch, trying his best to make a rousing company speech only to fail spectacularly and ending up barfing before the whole company.
If you’ve been a fan of the show you’ll find all but one of the cast members that have been a permanent fixture in the series. Actor T.J. Miller is no longer associated with the show after he left it in May last year.
We can’t expect any information about the plot to come up before the new season actually airs because that’s just the way these things work. Silicon Valley season 5 premieres on HBO come March 25th.
