However it looks like Ubisoft might have had a change of heart. According to a listing by Australian retailer Sanity (via Game Informer), it seems that the company could be bringing the game onto the Switch. The retailer lists the game’s shipping date as the 13th of March, 2018, which could be a placeholder date, but at the same time it does seem to be rather specific to be a placeholder.
In theory the game should not have any issues running on the Switch. As Game Informer points out, the game is powered by Ubisoft’s Snowdrop engine, which was also used in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Like we said, theoretically this means that they should have no problems getting a port to work on the Switch.
Either way we guess we’ll have to wait and see if this listing is accurate, so do check back with us in the next couple of weeks to see if there is any official information about it.
