If the recently unveiled Nintendo Labo kits for the Switch sound like something you might be interested in, then you’ll be pleased to learn that the kits are now available for pre-order. So far it seems that there are three different sets that you can order, such as the Robot Kit, the Variety Kit, and also the Customization Set.
For those who are learning about the Labo for the first time, these are new toys/accessories for the Switch that allow gamers to enjoy the console in different ways. For example through the use of cardboard accessories, gamers will be able to build all kinds of things that they can then use as a controller for Switch games, or even animate them.
That’s one of the features of the Robot Kit which according to Nintendo, “Use pre-cut cardboard kits to build your own robot suit, with easy-to-follow interactive instructions included in the Nintendo Labo software. After the making is complete, the kits come to life.” The variety kit offers more designs besides robots, so if you’re after variety then that’s probably the kit to go for.
As for the Customization Set, these are essentially stickers that you can use to decorate your Labo creations and personalize them. The Robot Kit is priced at $80, the Variety Kit at $70, and the Customization Set at £8.99. The Amazon pre-orders are stating that they are expected to shit out in the later part of April 2018.
