[CES 2018] Misfit is well known for its low-power activity trackers and hybrid smartwatches. The company has launched a new product at the Consumer Electronics Show 2018 called the Path. It’s the smallest hybrid smartwatch that the company has ever released. The 38mm case houses a conventional watch with features that include activity tracking and movement reminders.
Misfit has expanded its hybrid smartwatch lineup today with the addition of Path to the already existing Phase and Command hybrid smartwatches. The Path’s 38mm is the smallest case size that Misfit has ever made for one of these products.
The Path doesn’t have a built-in heart rate sensor but it’s capable of tracking the user’s steps, calories burned, sleep, and distance throughout the day. It syncs all of the data to the Misfit mobile app.
The app can be used to customize the watch’s vibrations so that users get different vibrating notifications for calls, texts, and app notifications. The Path is water resistant up to 50 meters. It’s powered by a replaceable coin cell battery that is good for up to six months.
Misfit is going to start selling the Path later this year in the spring for $150. Customers will be able to choose from four different metal tone and color options.
