The LG Tribute Dynasty is a low-end smartphone and in terms of specs, we’re looking at the likes of a MediaTek SoC with an octa-core CPU, a 5-inch HD display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing shooter, a 2,500mAh battery, and disappointingly enough only comes with Android 7.1 Nougat.
It is unclear if there are plans to eventually bump it up to Android 8.0 Oreo, but we wouldn’t hold our breaths. The handset is available through Boost Mobile in the US where it is priced at $60 and is actually already a discount from the original price of $100. Sprint is also expected to eventually start carrying the device from the 12th of January onwards, so if you’d rather Sprint over Boost Mobile, then you’ll have to wait a few more days.
More details about the handset and how to purchase it can be found on Boost Mobile’s website.
