This is something Apple has typically done but it has been suggested that the weaker-than-expected demand could lead to Apple changing up their strategy. However according to a new report from Kuo obtained by MacRumors, he believes that Apple’s 2018 iPhones could see much better results, as they are expected to introduce two larger iPhone models.
He claims that this will “offset” the weak demand for the iPhone in China, which in turn could also help Apple increase their smartphone shipments year-on-year. This is actually not the first time we’re hearing reports of larger iPhones. There are claims that Apple could introduce three iPhones this year, one of which will maintain the iPhone X’s 5.8-inch display, while one could be of the 6.1-inch variety, and the other of the 6.5-inch variety.
Other rumored features include improved Face ID and a potentially updated design. Either way these are just rumors for now and predictions, none of which are official so take it with a grain of salt.
