Huawei Mate 10 Pro Will Be Available From The Microsoft Store Soon

There were a lot of reports recently that Huawei was looking to break into the U.S. smartphone market with an official launch of the Huawei Mate 10. The company confirmed a couple of days ago that it’s going to release the Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Design officially in the United States. The Mate 10 Pro costs $799 and will be available from a variety of online retailers. It turns out that the handset will also be sold through the Microsoft Store.

Huawei was actually supposed to bring this flagship smartphone to the United States through mobile carriers. It made sense because the vast majority of smartphones sold in the country and purchased via carrier sales channels. AT&T decided to pull out of its deal with Huawei to sell this device due to political pressure and Verizon is expected to do the same.

That didn’t stop the company from delaying the official launch of the Mate 10 Pro in the United States. It’s pressing on by partnering with major online retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, and B&H for online sales of the unlocked model.

The Microsoft Store already sells a couple of flagship Android-powered smartphones like the Galaxy S8, even though Microsoft doesn’t make one and its own smartphone program is dead. Interested customers will soon be able to purchase the Huawei Mate 10 Pro from the Microsoft Store in the United States. Sales begin February 18th.
