Huawei is one of the manufacturers that has launched Android 8.0 Oreo beta program for some of its devices. The company is now rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo beta firmware to the P10 and P10 Plus. It has previously released the beta for devices like the Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro. Those who own the handsets will certainly won’t mind the availability of the latest firmware even if it’s just in beta right now.

Huawei is calling on P10 and P10 Plus owners who are interested to sign up for the beta program and try out the pre-release firmware before the update is made available to all users.

Those who are interested in taking part in this program will first have to download an app on their P10 or P10 Plus. They will have to register for the program through the app before they receive the first Oreo beta build over-the-air.

The Huawei P10 and P10 Plus Android 8.0 Oreo beta program is meant for devices with these software versions: VTR-L09C432B180, VTR-L29C432B180, VKY-L09C432B181, and VKY-L29C432B181.

The beta builds have only been rolled out in Romania at this point in time but they will be released in other markets across the globe soon as well.

The company has said that if the beta program goes off without any problems then it should be able to release the stable version of Android 8.0 Oreo for the P10 and P10 Plus by the end of next month.
