Kratos is coming. Sony has finally confirmed the God of War PS 4 release date today. Fans have been waiting for this title for quite some time now and they will be delighted to find out that Sony has finally confirmed when they will be able to play this game. The new God of War title brings a new look for protagonist Kratos and appears to shift the focus of the series from Greek mythology to a Norse folklore-inspired world. It has also released a new trailer for the title today which provides a good glimpse of the revamped God of War.
God of War PS4 release is going to take place on April 20th, 2018. Sony confirmed the release date in a post on the official PlayStation blog today.
Sony has also revealed that those who pre-order any edition of the game will acquire three legendary shield skins for Kratos, however, they will need internet connectivity to access the shields in the game.
Customers who pre-order any edition at GameStop or EB Games will also get the Luck of Ages XP Talisman which increases XP and Hacksilver gain as well as the ability to trigger Perks.
So mark your calendars, God of War fans, the next title will be available April 20th. It’s a PlayStation 4 exclusive and is certainly being awaited by countless fans across the globe.
