According to the post, it seems that Samsung will not be upping the amount of RAM on the Galaxy S9 and will be keeping it at 4GB, with users being able to choose between 64GB or 128GB of storage. As for the S9+, Samsung is said to offer three variants: one will pack 64GB of storage, another with 128GB, and the third with 256GB.
However all three variants are said to come with 6GB of RAM. The report goes on to add that Samsung could also be working on a fourth variant for select markets in limited quantity, and that is a 6GB RAM model with 512GB of storage, which would be a first but not surprising given that it was just last month that Samsung announced that they have begun mass producing the memory chips.
Take it with a grain of salt for now, but we might not be too far off from an official announcement since the rumors had pegged it for February. The Galaxy S9 and S9+ have also recently been spotted at the FCC, bringing it one step closer to being made a reality.
