In a post on Twitter (via Destructoid), Vaati clarified that the remastered version of the game will not be using the new assets found in the Dark Souls 3 engine. It will also not contain any combat differences, nor will there be HDR lighting specifically for the PS4 Pro. However he did confirm that the game will run at 60fps, which we guess is pretty neat, save for the Nintendo Switch which it seems will run at 30fps when docked, but 60fps for all other platforms.
So to correct a few things that I posted about yesterday – "Dark Souls Remastered will not include new assets based on the Dark Souls 3 engine or any combat differences.

The game is currently scheduled to arrive on the May 25th, 2018 where it will be priced at $40 for consoles. There is no word on pricing for PC, but it has been suggested that it might be also priced at $40, although there is a chance it could be discounted by 50% if players were to own a copy of the previous version of the game, but this cannot be confirmed yet.
