Recently Nintendo had bragged that the Switch is the fastest-selling console ever in the US, and now it looks like more stats of the console have been released, this time telling us what are the most played titles on the console so far. Unsurprisingly it looks like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has managed to take the top spot.
Given that the game has received near-perfect reviews and won gaming awards, along with the fact that it was one of the console’s launch titles, it doesn’t really come as a surprise to see it at the top of the list. Coming in second place is Super Mario Odyssey, which once again isn’t too surprising considering the long and storied reputation of the Mario franchise.
Third place goes to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2 in fourth, and Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition coming in fifth. Indie darling Stardew Valley has also made it into the list at sixth place, proving that its developers made the right choice in porting the game over onto Nintendo’s latest console.
Other titles include Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, ARMS, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, 1-2 Switch, Pokken Tournament DX, and Rocket League, just to name a few.
