Last year there were rumors suggesting that Assassin’s Creed Rogue could be remastered in higher resolution for modern day consoles. Turns out the rumors were right because it has been confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remaster is in the works and will be launching on the PS4 and Xbox One this March.
This is essentially the same game that was released all those years ago, with the main difference being that it is now remastered in higher quality and will run at 1080p base resolution on both the PS4 and Xbox One, but no word on the frame rates that gamers can expect. The Remastered copy of the game will also include all the DLCs that were previously released for the game, which includes Armor of Sir Gunn Quest and Siege of Fort de Sable bonus missions, as well as the Master Templar and Explorer Packs.
For those unfamiliar with Rogue, this was pretty much the last Assassin’s Creed game released for the Xbox 360 and the PS3. In the year that it was released, which was in 2014, Ubisoft released two Assassin’s Creed titles, Unity which was for the PS4 and Xbox One, and Rogue which was for previous-gen consoles.
If you missed out on Rogue then we guess now’s your chance to check it out. No word on pricing but it will be released on the 20th of March.
