This is because our mobile apps have the benefit of an internet connection, meaning that routes can be updated with real-time info.The good news is that if you were planning on buying Ford’s 2018 EcoSport, you will be pleased to learn that the company has announced (via GearDiary) that the vehicle will come with Waze integration. All users have to do is plug their phone into the car, and Ford’s SYNC AppLink will look for compatible apps on your phone, such as Waze. From there users will be able to use the app on the car’s larger infotainment display, which according to GearDiary can go as big as 8-inches, which is about the size of a mini tablet.
In addition to Waze, the 2018 Ford EcoSport will also integrate Amazon’s Alexa digital assistant into your car. This means that for the most part, all of Alexa’s skills can be accessed within your car, such as the ability to play music, read the news, check on weather and traffic conditions, create a shopping list, and so on.
