The way the first season of Marvel’s “The Punisher” ended on Netflix could have been a pretty clean way to end the series, but for those who are curious to see who else Frank Castle will be taking his fight to, you’ll b e pleased to learn that Netflix has announced that they will be giving the series a second season.
This was announced on the official “The Punisher” Twitter account, although save for the ominous looking video, no specific dates were mentioned. However given the amount of TV shows that Netflix has yet to release, chances are you might be looking at a release in 2019 and not anytime earlier.

This is because if you recall, Marvel’s Jessica Jones has also been renewed for a second season that will be released in March 2018, a good 3 years after the first season. There will also be the second season of Luke Cage whose release date has yet to be confirmed (we’re assuming late 2018).
Then there is the third season of Daredevil, as well as the second season of Iron Fist, all of which goes to show that Netflix still has a ton of Marvel shows that they’ve yet to put out, so if you’re looking forward to The Punisher’s second season, you could be in for a wait.
