Valve’s Steam Winter Sale Is Now Live

The holidays are nearly upon us and if you’re looking for some ways to pass the time during the Christmas and New Year’s break, video games could be one way to go about it. In fact if you’re a gamer, you might be interested to learn that Valve’s Steam Winter Sale is now live and will run until the 5th of January, 2018 at 2AM CST.

For those unfamiliar, every year Valve’s Steam gaming platform will host several different sales spread throughout the year, with the Winter Sale capping off the end of the year. The prices of various games have been slashed by quite a bit, depending on the title, and gamers can expect discounts up to 75%.

However like we said, this is depending on the title where games that are older tend to be discounted more, while the more popular and trendy titles aren’t as heavily discounted. That being said, discounts are discounts so if you want to save some money then perhaps the sale could be worth checking out.

That being said, even if you miss this sale, like we said, Valve tends to hold Steam sales events several times a year, so you could always wait until next year if nothing interests you at the moment.
