However the good news is that Fitbit has worked to changed that, and in the latest update that they have issued to the smartwatch’s operating system, not only have they improved upon the features of the device, but it has also included a bunch of new apps. “Starting today Fitbit Ionic users will be treated to more than 100 data-rich (and interactive!) clock faces and more than 60 apps from Fitbit, Fitbit Labs, popular brands, and developers (more on all that below), as well as helpful enhancements to existing features.”
To be more specific, Fitbit has launched 14 new apps for the Ionic from “popular brands”, such as Walgreens, Nest, The New York Times, and Yelp, just to name a few. Some of these apps aren’t available yet and are expected to be released by the end of the year, but know that they will be arriving for the Ionic.
Other improvements to the watch include support for multi-card payment and a faster user interface, so if you do own the Ionic, you’ll want to check out the update ASAP.
