Fallout 4 VR was officially announced earlier this year and was also set for a release on the 12th of December, 2017, which is today. Gamers who are interested can pick it up for themselves, or alternatively it seems that if you were to purchase a HTC Vive headset, you will be able to get a copy of the game for free, which we guess makes sense since you will need a VR headset to enjoy it on.
However it should be noted that Fallout 4 VR is currently exclusive to the HTC Vive, unlike some of Bethesda’s other VR titles like DOOM VFR which is also available on the PlayStation VR, and Skyrim VR which will be playable on the PlayStation VR, with the HTC Vive version expected to arrive in 2018.
For the most part and save for the perspective, Fallout 4 VR should be more or less the same game that you know storywise, but like we said given the new perspective, perhaps it could come off feeling like a brand new game.
