Tesla’s New Powerbank Looks Like a Supercharger

The Model 3 notwithstanding, Tesla vehicles are out of the reach of the average customer. It’s difficult for a lot of people to spend over $70,000 on an electric car. If you’re not one of those people and can’t wait as long as people have to in order to get a Model 3, perhaps you can get your Tesla fix by purchasing the company’s new powerbank. Tesla is selling a new powerbank that looks like one of its Superchargers.

It has been a pretty busy week for Tesla. The company announced the launch of its much-awaited electric truck. It also gave its fans a surprise by unveiling a new Roadster.

The company has quietly launched a new portable charger as well. The Tesla powerbank can be used to charge devices like the iPhone, iPad, and any other mobile device that can be charged with a microUSB cable.

The capacity isn’t a lot. It’s a 3,350mAh powerbank but it’s the design that’s going to make you want one. It looks like a Tesla Supercharger, the futuristic-looking charging stations location across the globe where Tesla owners can quickly charge their cars.

It costs a bit more than any other powerbank with a similar capacity would, but then again, you’re not really paying for the battery. The Tesla powerbank can be purchased online from the company’s website for $45.
