It’s no secret that Tesla has been working on an electric semi truck. The company was supposed to unveil the truck last month but it got busy with other projects and ended up delaying the event. Tesla has now sent out another teaser for its semi truck and has also started sending out invites for the launch event. Tesla is going to formally launch its electric truck later this month.
Tesla hasn’t properly shown off the truck as yet but some images believed to be of the truck were leaked online recently. Nevertheless, we won’t have to wait for a long time to see what the truck looks like.
The company’s CEO Elon Musk announced last month that the event was being delayed to focus on removing the Model 3 production bottlenecks. The company also focused on ramping up battery production to help solve Puerto Rico’s power woes after it was hit by devastating hurricanes a couple of months back.
Tesla is now sending out invites for an event that’s going to take place on November 16th. The invite confirms that we’ll finally get to see the truck at this event and find out more information about it.
It’s likely going to unveil a prototype initially as the production version isn’t expected to hit the road until 2019 at the very least.
