The phone comes without a headphone jack and will require users to either connect headphones via Bluetooth or USB-C, and what better way to upsell your own products by launching a pair of USB-C headphones, right? The company has recently taken the wraps off the Hammerhead earbuds that will now feature USB-C connectivity.
Now the Razer Hammerhead earbuds aren’t new, although they have gone through a couple of iterations, like earlier this year when they launched the Bluetooth/Lightning version, but for those who don’t own an iPhone or prefer a wired connection, then the new USB-C model might be of interest to you.
According to Razer, “The Razer Hammerhead USB-C houses a custom-tuned DAC converter that leverages its digital output to produce clean, unprocessed audio that comes straight from the source. What you’ll get is the purest and most accurate sound anywhere you are.” The headphones will also feature 10mm drivers, an aluminum housing, flat-style cables to prevent tangling, and can be had for a price of $80. In the meantime the company’s Razer Phone has recently gone on sale in the US.
