If you have been experiencing random reboots on your Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL, know that you’re not alone as there have been quite a few other Pixel 2 owners who are reporting the same issue. The good news is that Google is more than aware of this, and that they are already working on a fix.According to various posts on the Pixel User Community, users have been complaining about the issue. One post reads, “Day 1 of using the Black Pixel 2 and random reboots occurred.After using it a few days, the reboots seem to only happen when I am connected to cellular data only. Factory reset did not work. Installed apps should not affect it either since I am using all the SAME apps as I did on Nexus 5x, I just transferred everything via cable.”
However like we said, Google appears to be aware of the problem and have a fix in the works, which according to a response from Community Manager Orrin, will be arriving in the next few weeks. “Thanks for all the info you have provided and for those that sent over bug reports. We want to let you all know that we’ve identified a fix which will be rolling out in the coming weeks.”
