Pixel 2’s Buzzing To Be Fixed In Upcoming Update

Google’s Pixel 2 phones have been experiencing quite a bit of issues ever since it has been launched, but the good news is that Google is (so far) aware of most of these issues and have been busying trying to fix them. One of those reported problems is a buzzing sound that can be heard when making calls, which is a fix Google will be addressing soon.

In a post on the Pixel User Community (via Android Police), Community Manager Orrin announced that Google will be pushing out a software update in the coming weeks that will fix the problem. “We’re rolling out a software update in the coming weeks which eliminates a faint buzzing sound on some Pixel 2 devices when the phone is placed to your ear during a phone call.”

There are no specific dates mentioned, so we guess owners of the Pixel 2 handsets will just have to wait for it, but we’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for its release. In the meantime Google has already fixed a problem which involved the handset making weird clicking sounds, so this appears to be next on the list. Hopefully when this update is released it will address the buzzing sounds and some of the other problems plaguing the handset.
