Unfortunately it seems that Logitech has decided that they are done with it and in an email that Logitech has sent out to customers, they have informed them that they will be bricking the device come March 2018. The email reads, “On March 16th, 2018, Logitech will discontinue service and support for Harmony Link. Your Harmony Link will no longer function after this date.”
In a post on the company’s forums, a Logitech employee writes, “There is a technology certificate license that will expire next March. The certificate will not be renewed as we are focusing resources on our current app-based remote, the Harmony Hub.” Unsurprisingly many customers are upset by this, although there is some consolation.
For customers whose Harmony Link device is still under warranty, Logitech will be offering them the Harmony Hub as a free replacement. For those whose Link device is out of warranty, not to worry as Logitech will offer you guys a 35% off the Hub when purchasing it through Logitech’s website.
