In fact thanks to photos obtained by Leica Rumors, images of the upcoming Leica CL mirrorless camera might have been leaked. The Leica CL has been rumored about for a while now, but these images look to be of press quality, meaning that it is suggesting that we are getting close to the camera being officially announced.
Details are scarce but according to earlier rumors, the Leica CL will feature a 24MP APS-C sensor, which is the same sensor found and used in the Leica TL2. It will support the TL-mount for interchangeable lenses, and will come with an improved EVF. It has a 1/8000 mechanical shutter, but it will not come with GPS, IBIS, or PDAF, which is kind of a pity.
The camera is also rumored to be officially announced in Japan on the 22nd of November and is rumored to cost around $3,000. Take it with a grain of salt, but we should have the official details tomorrow.
