Heading on over to Apple’s US Online Store, it would seem that shipping estimates for both models of the iPhone X across the various US carriers have improved to 2-3 weeks, meaning that if you order now you should be able to get your iPhone X within a month, or even less. However this in turn does beg some questions.
It has been pointed out by some that while the iPhone X sold out quickly, it isn’t like in the past where previous iPhone orders could see customers wait longer than 5-6 weeks. This could either be that demand for the iPhone X is lower than what many had expected, or if previous reports are to be believed, Apple has finally managed to get a handle on production and things are proceeding smoother than expected.
So far Apple has claimed that pre-orders have been “off the charts”, with carriers echoing similar sentiments. Third-party reports have even indicated that as many as 9-12 million units of the iPhone X were pre-ordered in the first 3 days. Whatever the reason is, the shipping estimates should be welcomed by those who are thinking of getting the phone.
