Given the massive success that Disney and Pixar had with “The Incredibles” where it pulled in over $600 million in gross revenue, you would have thought that Disney and Pixar would have been tripping over themselves to get a sequel made, but for a variety of reasons a sequel did not happen, at least until recently where the Incredibles 2 was announced.
For those who can’t wait for the movie, you’ll be pretty excited to learn that Disney has since released a teaser trailer for the upcoming movie. The video is rather short coming in under a minute, but it shows Jack-Jack and what appears to be his super powers. The movie will be directed by Brad Bird and produced by John Walker (both of whom worked on the original movie) and Nicole Grindle.
According to the video’s description, “Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transistion for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.”
The Incredibles 2 movie is currently scheduled for a release on the 15th of June, 2018.
