The report claims that Fox 21 and Hulu have teamed up to create the series in which the pilot episode will be written by Derek Kolstad, the creator and writer of John Wick, so we guess if anyone knows how to write an assassin movie, Kolstad is probably one of them. It is unclear if Kolstad will write the other episodes, but he is expected to be one of the show’s executive producers, so he will have some input on its direction.
There is no word on when the series will air, but if you’re a fan of the Hitman franchise it could be a good idea to consider subscribing to Hulu (if you haven’t already), especially with Hulu launching on more platforms like the Nintendo Switch which will add another way for users to watch their shows while on the go.
Recently there was some doubt on the future of the Hitman franchise as far as the video game was concerned, with Square Enix parting ways with IO Interactive. However recently IO Interactive confirmed that a new Hitman game is in the works, although details are scarce with plans to only talk about it in 2018.
