One of the main changes however is the support for the iPhone X’s TrueDepth front-facing camera. This comes in the form of a feature called Selfie Scenes. According to Apple, “Selfie Scenes is an exciting new feature that places users into animated, 360-degree scenes when recording selfies. Using the sophisticated TrueDepth camera system on iPhone X, Selfie Scenes transports users into bustling cities, serene landscapes, abstract paintings and even the Millennium Falcon and Mega-Destroyer from ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi.’”
However like we said, the app will introduce a bunch of new features as well, such as new artistic effect and stickers that users can use to add to their photos, and there will also be a redesigned user interface that should hopefully make the app easier to use. There will also be support for iCloud in which videos can be uploaded onto the user’s iCloud and accessed from various devices. The update should already be live so head on over to the iTunes App Store for the download.
