We have been hearing reports for quite some time now that the Galaxy S8 Active might soon be making its way to T-Mobile. Samsung is yet to confirm this and we’ve not heard anything from T-Mobile so far. However, a render has been leaked online which makes it clear that this handset is due to be launched on Magenta in the near future.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S8 Active a couple of months ago. Like all previous Active handsets, it was exclusive to AT&T. However, Samsung said back then that this device was exclusive to AT&T for a limited time.

This meant that the Galaxy S8 Active could possibly the first Active-branded handset to arrive on a carrier other than AT&T. Recent reports have suggested that the second carrier to offer this device in the United States will be T-Mobile.

Evan Blass a.k.a @evleaks has leaked a render of the T-Mobile Galaxy S8 Active. Nothing is different about the handset when compared to its counterpart on AT&T other than the fact that it will be compatible with T-Mobile’s network.

There’s no word as yet on when we can expect T-Mobile to start selling this handset. It’s possible that an official announcement may not be that far off.
