There’s great news for you if you were unable to get in on the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 open beta that went live for everyone this past weekend. It was supposed to be a weekend-only affair but EA has decided to extend the deadline so that more people can take the beta for a spin. EA has officially confirmed today that the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 open beta deadline has been extended.
The Star Wars: Battlefront 2 open beta went live for all players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this past weekend. The beta went live a couple of days earlier for those who have already pre-ordered this title.
EA’s official Star Wars Twitter account has sent out a confirmation that the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 open beta has been extended two more days. Players on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC can play the beta for two more days. It will expire on October 11th now.
Extending the beta also gives the developers a good idea of what bugs there might be left that still need to be iron out. It provides them with valuable data that they can use to ensure that the game’s final launch goes off without any issues.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is going to be released for the aforementioned platforms on November 17th, 2017.
