OnePlus smartphones have generally been well received. That was the response from the market for the OnePlus 5 as well. If you decide to purchase one now you might find it difficult to get your hands on one, though. All models of the OnePlus 5 are now out of stock in the United States. The availability is very limited in other markets across the globe as well. This thus fuels rumors of the OnePlus 6, the next “flagship killer” from OnePlus.
You can head over to the OnePlus website right now to see that both the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage and the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variants of the OnePlus 5 are out of stock.
Some are expecting the OnePlus 5T to arrive before the OnePlus 6 does. The company launched the OnePlus 3 in June last year and came out with the OnePlus 3T in November. The OnePlus 5 was also launched in June this year and many expect that we might get to see the OnePlus 5T next month.
Recent rumors have also suggested that perhaps there’s not going to be a OnePlus 5T and that the company is going to launch the OnePlus 6 instead. However, that handset is expected to arrive early next year. It’s hard to believe that OnePlus won’t be selling a new handset until then.
