Huawei has been teasing its new flagship devices for the past couple of weeks. As it continues to build hype for its new handsets, the company today confirmed the Huawei Mate 10 battery capacity. The new flagship from the Chinese company is going to feature a 4,000mAh battery. That’s more than what most Android flagships on the market today offer.
This isn’t all that surprising, though, when you consider the fact that the Huawei Mate 9 also came with a 4,000mAh battery. Huawei hasn’t confirmed if all variants of the Mate 10 will have the 4,000mAh battery.
I’m sure some would be expecting the Pro variant to take it up a notch, but whether or not that’s going to happen remains to be seen. Huawei confirmed the Mate 10 battery capacity via a tweet today. It points out to users that they will be able to get through the entire day on a single charge.
The teaser wraps up by reminding people that Huawei is due to unveil its new flagship smartphone on October 16th. The company has recently been playing up the AI-angle for this handset. The chip that powers it, the Kirin 970 by Huawei itself, has been designed for enhanced artificial intelligence capabilities.
We’ll have to wait until October 16th to find out whether the device really does outperform its rivals in this category.
