Fossil Launches Its Smallest Hybrid Smartwatches Yet

Fossil today announced the launch of the Q Neely and Q Jacqueline, the company says that these are the smallest hybrid smartwatches that it has ever released. Geared towards female customers, the latest additions to Fossil’s Q lineup fuse new functionality with a classically design watch profile of Fossil’s best-selling styles.

Featuring an understated design, the new smartwatches have a 36mm case which is the most popular size for women’s watches. There will be countless options for personalization which include interchangeable straps in silicone, leather, and stainless steel.

A hybrid smartwatch is called hybrid because it doesn’t have the features that you’d expect from a modern smartwatch, but it does offer enough features to justify the smart tag.

The Fossil Q Neely and Q Jacqueline bring together an analog watch design with smart connectivity. Users can get smartphone notifications, track fitness goals, compare time in multiple time zones, and customize the pushers to operate a smartphone camera or ring their phone.

The smartwatches are capable of doing all this while offering a no-charge battery life of up to six months. Fossil’s new hybrid smartwatches are compatible with Android devices running version 5.0 and up as well as the iPhone 5/iOS 9.0+.

The Fossil Q Neely and Q Jacqueline will be available in Fossil stores and online starting October 22nd priced from $155 to $175.
