The feature seems to be pretty straightforward and will allow users to list their resumes on the website, like their professional experience, education, an image, and additional information. However as Business Insider points out, Facebook already allows users to list their work and education experience on their profile pages, so apart from perhaps better formating options and a neater layout, it doesn’t seem to be too different from what is being offered now.

Facebook has confirmed that the feature is in testing, but as usual there’s no confirmation if the feature will eventually be rolled out to all users. In a statement provided to Business Insider, “At Facebook, we’re always building and testing new products and services. We’re currently testing a work histories feature to continue to help people find and businesses hire for jobs on Facebook.” In any case we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information if and when the feature launches in earnest.
