According to the latest figures, Nintendo has managed to sell over 5 million units of the Nintendo Switch worldwide. This is quite an accomplishment especially when you consider that the flop that was the Wii U took considerably longer to hit such figures. However there are probably still plenty of gamers out there who are still on the fence.
If you are one of those gamers, then you might be interested to learn that Nintendo has announced a Super Mario Odyssey Switch bundle. Basically this bundle will contain the Nintendo Switch and a copy of Super Mario Odyssey, and the console will also sport a pair of red Joy-Cons, which is a slightly darker shade of red compared to the neon red Joy-Cons. Also based on the box’s art, it looks like the bundle will include a special carrying case themed after the game.
The console itself doesn’t appear to be special in design and the only difference would be its red Joy-Cons. The entire bundle will set gamers back $380, so if you have yet to buy the Switch and have been looking for a reason to, then maybe this Super Mario Odyssey bundle could convince you to make that leap. The bundle will be officially released on the 27th of October, which is also when Super Mario Odyssey will be released, so you’ve got a little over a month to make up your mind.
