Announced at IFA 2017, Sony has taken the wraps off the LF-S50G which is a set of smart speakers that is powered by Google Assistant. This means that just like the Google Home, the LF-S50G can be activated using your voice and can do what Google Home can do, like control your smart home appliances, ask for the news, weather updates, play and control your music, and so on.
It also appears to have a mesh grill that has some LEDs hidden behind it that can form numbers to tell the time, but unfortunately apart from that, not much is known about the speakers. It will have Bluetooth and NFC connectivity which are some options that you can use to pair your device with it, along with Chromecast support and an IPX3 rating.
As for pricing, the Sony LF-S50G will be priced at $200 and is set for a release this coming October.
