Parrot today launched an upgraded model of its premium consumer drone. The Bebop 2 Power from Parrot promises improved battery life. It also comes with new FPV goggles. The new drone is also capable of taking smarter photos. That being said, the unique selling point of this new drone is the improved battery life. That’s what’s going to get people to spend money on it.
The original Bebop 2 drone from Parrot could only manage 25 minutes of flying. It could be frustrating for those who wanted to get more out of their drone. They’ll like Parrot’s newest model for sure.
The Bebop 2 Power drone comes with two batteries that provide 30 minutes of flying time each. That’s one hour in total. Parrot says that the drone can now take better photos as it has built-in artificial intelligence and specialized modes that let users shoot “professional-looking photos and videos.”
There are new take-off modes as well. The drone can be launched by throwing it in the air. New piloting modes let users customize their flying experience with the high-speed Sport mode and the steadier Video mode.
The new Parrot Cockpitglasses 2 FPV goggles are foldable, lightweight, and compact. They provide users with an immersive view of the action. The Parrot Skycontroller 2 promises a range of up to 1.24 miles.
The new Parrot Bebop 2 Power drone is available in a deep matte-black finish for $599.99 from major retailers and the company’s online store.
