Jaybird already makes a couple of wireless earbuds, such as the X3 and Freedom, although the way these earbuds were designed is that while they are wireless, they still came with cables that connected the headphones to each other, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing although we guess there are some who might prefer to go completely wireless.
The earbuds will come with a variety of silicone tips to ensure that there will be a pair of tips that will fit your ears nicely. They will also sport fins that will help “lock” them in your ear to prevent them from falling out while you’re out for your run. There are also buttons on either the left or right side of the earbuds where pressing them in a variety of patterns will launch either Siri or Google Assistant, pause or play music, accept phone calls, and so on.
In terms of battery life, the Jaybird Run will offer about 4 hours per charge, but will also come with a charging case that will offer an extra 8 hours. They are priced at $180 and will be shipped this coming October.
