According to their report, Apple’s rumored redesigned bezel-less iPhone will actually be known as the iPhone X (pronounced as the iPhone 10). This is because this marks the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, so it is rather appropriate that the redesigned model will be named in honor of that achievement.
The website claims to have been tipped off by this name via a “reliable source”, and as TNW points out, iCulture was previously right about the reports of a 10.5-inch iPad Pro, so their track record seems to be pretty decent so far regarding Apple-related rumors. Of course this should still be taken with a grain of salt, since last we heard there were rumors that the 2017 iPhone could also be known as the iPhone Edition since it is said to be a more premium model compared to the others.
In any case all should be revealed soon enough as Apple has recently confirmed that they will be hosting an event for the 12th of September where it is believed that is when the new iPhones, Apple Watch Series 3, and 4K Apple TV will be announced.
