iPhone 8 And 8 Plus Pre-Orders Are Now Live

Several days ago Apple announced their latest iPhones in the form of the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. The Cupertino company confirmed that pre-orders for the phone would be kicking off on the 15th of September for certain markets, and if you are in those markets then you will be pleased to learn that pre-orders are now live.

The first wave of countries that will accept pre-orders include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, the UK, the US and US Virgin Islands.

For those who missed the initial announcement, the iPhone 8 will be priced starting at $699 for the 64GB model, while the larger iPhone 8 Plus will cost $799 for the 64GB model. This time round it seems that Apple is reducing the number of storage options, essentially giving customers a choice of 64GB or 256GB, whereas in the past Apple offered at least 3 different storage options.

At the moment the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus currently have a 1-2 week shipping estimate, but as is the case with Apple’s iPhones, we expect those times to slip the longer you wait. In the meantime customers interested in Apple’s iPhone X will have to wait until late October which is when pre-orders for the phone will begin.
