According to various user reports, Instagram is testing out a “Follows You” feature on its Android app. As its name suggests, this feature lets users know that a particular user is following them when they visit their profile, as you can see in the screenshot in the tweet below. Prior to this users had no way of knowing if a user was following them unless they were to search their “Followers” list.

This makes it a lot easier for people to find connections, and to maybe follow users back. At the moment it seems that the feature is being tested out for Android users, so for iOS users you guys will have to wait your turn. Instagram already allows users to see if people they follow follow another profile, so this is more about checking out on who’s following you.
There’s no word on when the feature will roll out for everyone or when it will be ready, so we guess we’ll just have to keep an eye out for it. In the meantime is this something that you have been waiting for on Instagram?
