If you’re one of the many pre-order customers in the United States that are waiting to get their hands on the Galaxy Note 8, you might be interested to know that your new flagship smartphone is going to come pre-installed with Hancom Office S. Hancom is a South Korean developer that has made this productivity suite for mobile devices.

Hancom today confirmed that all Galaxy Note 8 units sold in the United States will come with its productivity app. Users will not only be able to edit PDF files using this app but also Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel files.

This isn’t the first time that Hancom and Samsung have teamed up. Hancom’s Office S app was also provided for the Galaxy S8 when this flagship smartphone was released earlier this year in April.

Hancom says that pre-installing its app on the Galaxy Note 8 will support its aim to further expand its reach into the global market. That makes sense given that the Galaxy Note 8 is likely going to be one of the most popular Android devices in the current quarter and the next.

Samsung is going to release the Galaxy Note 8 in the United States on September 15th. However, some reports suggest that pre-ordered units have now started shipping ahead of schedule.
