In fact to help make fitness trackers more appealing, Garmin and Disney have teamed up for the Vivofit Jr. 2 and released Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars-themed fitness trackers that should appeal to children or maybe even adults. As you can see in the photo above, the Vivofit Jr. 2 will be offered in various themes depending on whether your kid is more of a Star Wars, Disney, or Marvel fan.
The bands aren’t just for show and can actually be used to unlock different game themes as well as have characters from the bands show up in the accompanying mobile app. In terms of actual features, the Vivofit Jr. 2 will not differ too greatly from its predecessor and one of the key differences is the use of a color screen versus the black and white screen from before.
As for pricing, the Vivofit Jr. 2 will be more expensive than its predecessor and will cost $100. Parents who want to buy additional bands will have to pay $30 for each band which will be sold separately.
