YouTube TV Expands To 14 More Markets In The US

Earlier this year, YouTube TV was launched but its availability was kind of limited. However over the course of the next few months, we’ve seen the service start to expand to various markets in the US, and now it looks like the expansion has continued because it has since been reported that  YouTube TV is now available in 14 new markets in the US.

These new markets include Baltimore, Boston, Cincinnati, Columbus, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Louisville, Memphis, Nashville, Pittsburgh, San Antonio, Seattle, Tampa, and West Palm Beach. So if you stay in any of those areas, then you should be able to use the service, which at the moment will come with a one month free trial before you decide whether or not you want to continue with the subscription (which is priced at $35 a month).

For those unfamiliar, YouTube TV is a new service provided by YouTube in which they will be able to access live streaming television from the likes of ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, ESPN, and so on. The idea is that since we’re all connected these days, maybe the need for traditional TV is gone, and that services like YouTube TV could provide a better experience.

We’re not sure if we’re quite there yet but at least the option is there for those who wish to take advantage of it.
